@Mario

From my vantage point as an US attorney in Japan doing immigration work I can say that there has been a renewed interest by investors (Japanese and otherwise) in the Eb-5 program. Why is not completely clear. But part of it maybe the fact that it seems that the USCIS is approving more cases and this news is getting around to other investors who have been sitting on the fence, but are desirous of immigrating to the US. So this increased activity seems to be working and pulling more investor out of the woodwork.

Note that the number of allotted visas is 10,000 and this has not changed for a few years. But because even with the recent increase the total # of immigrant last year that were granted Eb-5 visas were only 4,218 the allotted amount of Eb-5 visas does not really factor into the new interest and activity at this time.

I don't understand how the amount of potential investors tripled when, as far as I know, the visa allotment has not been increased... I work with people who are trying to attain the eb5 green card
and other visas, and I am not aware of such a spike in dispersals...
